. >> heather childers joins us. >> we be been following this story. now we can tell you officials at eglin air force base are stressing this is a search and rescue mission. still hopeful. the 11 missing military members were running a routine nighttime training mission in the florida panhandle when their blockhawk helicopter went down. it was one of two choppers actually running the exercise. the crew of the second blackhawk are safe. the base spokesman says it's too early to say what caused the crash but there were weather issues last night. debris from the helicopter has washed ashore. the search is being hindered by fog. at the beach where the exercise was taking place is owned by the military. it stretches for about 20 mields. the seven marines are part of a camp lejeune special ops group and the soldiers are from the louisiana national guard. the names of the marines and soldiers are currently being withheld. we will keep you updated. let's hope the search and rescue ends up with a lot of rescues. back to you. >>> thanks. if anyone knows how to s
