good evening i'm heather holmes. >> and i'm ken wayne. at least 11 people have been sent to the hospital following suspected carbon monoxide exposure. it happened in the bernal heights neighborhood. jade hernandez is live at the scene. >> reporter: we just heard from the battalion chief and told us many of those sent to the hospital have just been released. that's within the last few minutes. a gas representative is still checking all of the apartments in that duplex right behind me with the lights off. now the san francisco fire department says 11 people were transported to the hospital after the adults, there were eight adults, three children registered for high levels of carbon monoxide in their bloodstream. now a dispatcher received the call about 7:00 after hearing a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. >> basically we got a knock on the door from our neighbors and told us there was a carbon monoxide leak in the house. when we got out there was a fire truck and a lot of ambulances up and down the street. >> reporter: now some symptoms of
