heather childers. >>> the magazine is now retracting that article after a scathing review. kelly wrightre with the developing story. good morning, kelly. >> reporter: good morning to you as well. the "rolling stone" magazine's retraction follows reaction of a story being called journalistic failure that was avoidable. it focused on a female student called jackie claimed she was raymond by seven men at a fraternity. the day after the story captured national headlines it began to unravel. eventually state police found no evidence to back up the woman's allegations.
