some rain coming out of mendincino county, heelsburg had some reports of rain.owards the russian river area and also around forestville, graydon a little bit of rain. not a lot. some of that's not reaching the ground, but some of it is. that report from jenny, she says, oh, i woke up to the sound of rain here in forestville. june 4th, my goodness, big low. you'll get some breaks on that and then it'll start to rotate on over us and that's going to get the clof forming later today. if you have sun now, i don't think it'll last too long by later this afternoon. it'll be breezy to windy on the cooler side and big thunderstorms will be erupting, firing up over the sierra today. so mostly sunny, partly cloudy and then mostly cloudy i think later on this afternoon as that low takes its path over southern california. but right over us this afternoon. breezy and windy, below normal temps. showers, possible thursday laterred today, i would think north and east more than anywhere else. sal, that's what's going on in weather. what about say no in traffic? it's quietment >>

but you can see around here heelsburg, here's our sweep.hat there is moisture up in the atmosphere. we are looking at the possibility of this sprinkles over through fairfield, i-80 and then things kind of evaporate the further south you get. we will look for this to be in the forecast in the morning hours. subtropical moisture. but then the winds will shift and we will look for the on shore push. a pleasant day today and stays hot in the here they have. dry lightning may exist there. you take a look outside and you notice the cloud cover is a little bit different this morning. 54 mountain screw, 54 morganville and half moon bay. san francisco 61 degrees. that's because we have a decent marine layer and high and mid-level clouds. 63 on cord livermore, and everyone experiencing the muggy conditions and temperatures way warmer than we should be this morning. and it feels a little bit sticky out there. this is a pretty shot a couple minutes ago from vollmer peak. right now muggy and mild. partly cloudy this afternoon, sunnier to the toward the

county, mendincino county, ukia thunder, hopland and in northern sonoma county from cloverdale to heelsburg, i'll get out of the way, windsor now towards occi and to the west of santa rosa towards girnville and right over graydon. look at that. so things are really active here pretty soon very early in the morning, all associated with this very dynamic system. and, again, this time of year, june, you have the heat, the length of the day, the angle of the sun, and there could be some pretty good thunderstorms erupting later today, not only to the north, but also i think for anybody around here. east bay, north bay probably favorable locations. 50s on the temps, it's cool, breezy, windy at times and temperatures will be well below normal here, even getting a pretty good westerly breeze from sfo out to livermore, a southerly breeze in san jose. water temps have cooled off except for monterey. they've come down a couple degrees. 30s in the mountains. thunderstorms will be erupting over the sierra and shafta lake later today, so keep that in mind if you have travel plans there. keeping an eye on
