'miss flo' douglas was unable to recover from multiple bone fractures and internal bleeding - injuries prosecutors say she got from 19-year-old zachary cuen. "it was my grandmother. it could be yours, it could be your mother." douglas had been in an intensive care unit ever since september 12th, when deputies say cuen entered her home and violently beat her multiple times, demanded money, and threatened to kill her. the attacker took off in the car from douglas's own garage. cuen was arrested just three days later. before douglas died, cuen already faced several charges, including attempted murder, which will now be upgraded.
