light heiser is negotiating with the chinese today comes out with a report in march. he says the people's republic of china's treatment of economic issues is an existential threat to the american economy. the national security strategy says the economy is absolutely essential for u.s. national security. you connect the dots. this means china is an existential threat to the united states in its approach with the chinese government and their practices. this is very serious. what happens is you find it doesn't continue. the administration in 2018 is muddled. mr. trump is dealing with north korea and he wants to have a good relationship with china. the economics people are mixed up and debating these issues and congress however comes together with this and this is bipartisan in congress. i worked 50 years to see congress agree with the executive in a bipartisan way on their china policy. that never happened. not until now. now we have a consensus. a consensus where the democrats and republicans agree with this hard-line approach towards china. not everyone feels this way
