the one thing that occurs to me is the gun control case of a couple of years ago, the heller case. the first time in the nation's history has ever said what the second amendment means. i thought that was a pretty big deal and sort of the way i teed up the story. that's kind of our task. one of the fun things about covering the supreme court, one of the things i dearly love is to cover a story all day and then read how these guys write the next day. i love that, because i thank god there are still newspapers. i think it's wonderful that people get these 140 character bursts of news but i hope they're going to read adam and robert and tony online or in the paper so that they can really understand the supreme court decision. guess what, it's more complicated than 140 characters. it's more important than that. if you're not reading those articles, you know, if you're just watching me, god forbid, i hope you are, thank you.
