sosin, let heme ask you a few questions about what we're doing to harden our infrastructure in these locations where it may be under study. appreciate what ranking member degette has stated earlier. i've been on this committee for years and it seems like there's recurrent theme here. we want everything to be perfect. but there are human beings involved and sometimes they aren't perfect. i was a regular guy when the anthrax attacks happened in 2001. i remember reading in horror what happened when those individuals were infected and died reading about the emergency room doctors' experience, here was a guy who didn't look that sick. and as we found out you can be a lot sicker than what you look and by the time clinical deterioration begins you're almost too late on the curve to rescue someone although rescue is possible if you start early. because unlike ebola, anthrax is treatable with relatively common antibiotics. so bearing in mind that ebola experience from not quite a year ago, cdc was telling us last july, august, september, we got everybody up to speed on ebola. we don't have to
