let's go to bill hemmer who has been following the nevada caucuses very closely from america's election headquarters. bill? >> thank you. i can tell you when our viewers what we're seeing right now on the billboard here from nevada. a lot of the data starting to come in right now. you'll see these counties fill in throughout the night. this is what we've done for our viewers this year. we've put hillary clinton. see the numbers change again. hillary clinton in red. and bernie sanders in green. the corresponding counties fill out behind me. whoever is lead not guilty that county, they get the color. you're at 46% of the vote. clinton is about 52%. sanders 48%. a little less than 3% of the votes separating the two of them. it's a close race and half the vote is still out there. keep an eye on two counties. specifically this is clark county, las vegas, 70% of the vote in nevada comes from clark county. she has a lead of 41% reporting in this county at 55% to bernie sanders 45. that's the kind of number drive-up that the hillary team would like to get in clark county. let's see whether or n

bill hemmer braking down the county data. martha is in the exit polls in south carolina. >> reporter: it is looking like a three- way race for first place in south carolina. donald trump, ted cruz and marco rubio. south carolina voters are divide on whether they want a candidate with political experience or an outsider. and those who want experience are going to marco rubio. and ted cruz gets 34 percent of those. it is a good night for donald trump. he gets 60 percent of that vote. it looks tight among the top three because voters are split of what they want. winning in november is the most important thing. rub grow gets that group at 49 percent. and cruz at 21. and trump down to 18 percent. and so if elect ability is on their minds they are not going for donald trump. if they share their values, interesting in light of how tough and gritty it has been. ted cruz gets 38 percent of those who say it is important to share my values. and rubio gets 26. and carson?íp gets ten and kasi 10%. & trump in single digits in terms of that

we're going to check back in with bill hemmer, joins us from the microsoft caucus center.hat's happening over on the democratic side, bill? >> good evening, again to you. i was just talking to the counsel who had a major dust up four years ago. the system did not work in 2012 but tonight he tells me record turn out, as just mentioned, 180,000. it could go higher than that in the end. that shatters the record of 2012. you have a lot of enthusiasm on the republican side, a dozen candidates, all of the attention from donald trump. driving the level of enthusiasm. he calls it a huge success for iowa and the candidates and talking about this enthusiasm gap on behalf of republicans. so watch that story line. as for the mechanics of the operation, so far, only because it's not official, not all in just yet, on the democratic side, and final numbers on republicans, technology worked. and megyn, this is a first for voting in america. they established software over the summer, they set up apps for both parties and distributed 1600 precincts, 3200 precinct captains between the two pa

bill hemmer joins me now with the counties to watch tonight. good evening, bill. >> hey, good evening. we'll be watching this throughout the evening and when the polls close in 45 minutes, this map will start to change. let's take you down to south carolina. here is what we've done for you from bush, trump, kasich, rubio, carson, one through six, the colors for the county will correspond with their name very soon this map will start to fill in. in a typical year, in south carolina, you've got the low country. you have the midlands that include columbia and richland county. and you've got upstate, which tends to be more evangelical. so based on history back in 2012, what happened? gingrich and green was a clear winner over mitt romney in blue. look where gingrich won. just about everywhere, except for the capitol city and richland county here right in the middle. the other place where romney did well, down here along the coast. if somebody like marco rubio or jeb bush is going to do well tonight, we'll see whether or not they cut into that lead.

. >> bill hemmer is breaking down the county data. first, we're taking a look at the entrance polls. martha? >> thank you, as you have said these are entry polls, meaning we ask how they intend to vote once getting in there. so it's a little bit tricky. we're at 25 sites across the state. what we're showing you now, it's very early. it's a small number and we may see changes but let's take a look. outsider, one of the biggest buzz words of the election, about half of republican voters so far this year are looking for an outsider as their candidate and donald trump has been their choice. there is no big difference in this. 69% of those voters say that they're with the new york billionaire. take a look at how that stacks up. everybody else is far behind. the other big word that has been a buzz word, angry. the angry voter. they're speaking clearly tonight as well. take a look. you've got 51% of those who say they feel angry about the way the federal government is functioning. they're with donald trump tonight. 22% with senator ted cruz.
