let's begin with meteorologist bill henley and his first alert forecast. bill, overnight, we had some really strong storms, including even a tornado warning briefly for a small part of the area. >> yeah, in ocean county in new jersey. those storms are now offshore completely. just a few scattered showers remain this morning, and clouds, they're not going to last much longer, though. they'll be clearing out quickly. you can see the road is still damp in cape may, beach avenue. the view from the marquis de lafayette hotel. the big storms are clear of our area, off to the northeast, but there are just a few spotty showers left in southern new jersey. millville, cumberland county getting a little bit of light rain moving in. it's going to be a fast mover, that shower is going to move right on out. the wind pushing those clouds out of here. today winds are at 14 miles an hour. we're seeing gusts right now to 23 miles an hour. temperatures starting off in the 60s will warm into the 70s this afternoon. i'll go through it with the future weather hour by hour when

meteorologist bill henley has a look at the fog situation.e warm air push in with lots of moisture and that's creating the fog this morning north and west. not terribly thick, but it is present. and it could get a bit thicker before the sun takes over and really warms things up during the day. that's a clear view across the delaware of center city. no fog there, but farther north and west, that's where we're seeing some of the gray stuff. six miles for allentown and holding half a mile now in mt. pocono where we started the day with quarter mile visibility. philadelphia international, northeast philadelphia no fog and no fog in delaware or south jersey.

let's get a look now at meteorologist bill henley, see what he has more the morning. >> we're getting nice shots of the moon this morning. the eclipse has begun. it is less than an hour away from being a total lunar eclipse, but there's already a pretty good chunk. can't see it in this view. there's already a pretty good chunk missing from the moon, the shadow, the earth's shadow on it, and that will be fairly visible as the morning goes on. there, i pulled it up on the computer, the weather computer, so you can see it. the darkening northwest or the upper left corner of the moon is going to be extending across the entire move, so it will turn orangey, reddish-orangey this morning. this morning, what we are seeing are temperatures that are falling. currently we are in the 60s. the wind is picking up. the storms, they have already moved out of here. and right now, the winds are gusting at more than 20 miles an hour. 15-mile-an-hour winds in wildwo wildwood. philadelphia has 14-mile-an-hour winds this morning. it's 64 degrees in the city, 60 now in pottstown and reading is 60 degrees. s
