she's challenging henry cuellar on border policy and abortion.a soto, from the university of arkansas. victoria, always a pleasure to see you. let's start with border policy. cisneros says henry cuellar is playing into right wing talking points. how does this issue play in that district? >> well, it is complicated. we know that in public opinion polling, latinos are a little bit more open in terms of immigration policy when we're looking at folks on the board e, it gets tricky, because we're looking at the folks who are most impacted by the brunt of an immigration system and a system that continues to be broken. the other weese is a lot of the folk living on the border are employed by border patrol, so it's not as clear cut as the general theoretical question of, do you support immigration reform? it gets complicated. >> henry cuellar has been fighting for immigration reform and willing to cross the party line to reach some proposal. but on the border policy, they are two different things. yet it's interesting, victoria, because texas has been --

i'm supporting henry cuellar. he's a valued member of our congress. the f.b.i. has said he's not under investigation. and so it's up to his constituents to make the decision to send to congress. i thought you were going to take it to choice or something. he's not pro-choice. but we didn't need him. we passed the bill with what we had. by the way, this is one of the first congresses we've had with a democratic president, the pro-choice congress. when president obama was president, the house democratic caucus, we didn't have 218 pro-choice votes. that's why the affordable care act was the fight that it was at the end, because there were those on the outside who were saying, oh, it's about, you know, roe v. wade and terminating a pregnancy, which it completely was not. but our members, even those who were not pro-choice, understood that that was not what the health care bill was about. but there was an attempt on the outside to paint it that way. thank god for the nuns, thank god for the nuns, the catholic nuns, who supported the legislation, helped us push open th
