yesterday, south carolina governor henry mcmaster and announced a mandatory quarantine for those comingo the state from what he termed coronavirus hotspots. here is what he said. [video clip] >> ladies and gentlemen, we have a good bit of information to give out today. we are making progress. one thing i would like to announce his i have just issued another executive order. there is a mandatory quarantine -- we know there are hotspots around the country. they have been identified, some very clearly, others identified now. by the authority invested in me by the statutes of the constitution, i've issued another executive order requiring those coming into our state, regardless of if they came from our state or from somewhere else, if they come to south carolina from one of those hotspots, they must self-quarantine for 14 days, two weeks. there is a criminal penalty attached to failure to comply with that executive order. that executive order mentions specifically the states of new jersey, connecticut, and the city of new orleans, all of which have an identified as hotspots. >> "washington
