miller park is getting a makeover. our top story tonight, an rl outside his own garage, as he and his wife came home from church. toya: police say herman davis had that asked the suspect to move his car, when he was attacked. 12 news' nick bohr is live, near 24th and capitol. nick, davis' daughter calls the death senseless. nick: right, toya. she says her parents were just trying to make it down into their garage, around 7:30 last night. but never made it. her father, stabbed to death down the alley, right behind his house, as his wife of five standing in front of the home she was raised in, by the parents who still lived there, felicia givens can't believe her dad, 74-year-old herman davis, is gone so suddenly. and so violently. felicia: i ask whoever did this to just come forward. if anybody knows anything, come forth. he's a 74-year-old man. he should not have had to die that way. nick: felicia's parents were nearly home, when they were confronted by the suspect, as they pulled into the alley behind their house. te he died later at the hospital. felicia: they had just come from church. actually, him and my mom had just come from bib
