i'm jodi hernandez, nbc bay ares of covering the fires, the half hazzard location with all the locations. we're going to go to the south bay. take a look at the devastation in the santa cruz mountains. you're looking at panoramic images in the santa cruz mown tans. the sheriff's department flew drones over the community. remember the czu fire was last month started by all the lightning about six weeks ago. the sheriff's also used drones to create before and after images. the riverside neighborhood in bolder creek. this is what it looked like before. picturesque, very quiet. that's why people wanted to live there. that's what it looks like now. most of the homes. no more green trees. it is charred. it is ashy. the homes destroyed. before the fire this consisted of homes surrounded by lush and green trees. you can see so many homes and outbuildings here. the western side, this is what it looks like now. the homes on that western side burned like the fire. you can see the firefighters there, just hardly anything there. just charred remains. homes on the other side also burned as well. you c
