hershal, tina, michelle. bill, curtis, scott. >> good evening, commissioners. i'm a resident about two blocks from the library, for 25 years. have raised two children in the neighborhood. was a former p.t.o. president as well. i'm also an architect. i've been before this commission many times for conditional use permits and preservation issues, over the 25 years i've been practicing architecture here. and feel that the examination of the alternatives in the e.i.r. was very thorough, extremely detiled -- detailed and without makesing -- making comments on the plus and minuses, i find if you look at the plans, it's very easy to tell and make a decision on what the positives and negatives are. i myself have concluded that the proposed project is the best alternative and i feel it's the best thing that's come to our neighborhood since i've lived there. i'd also like to say that a lot of the speakers have spoken to the impacts on buildings, the impacts on preservation, the impacts on traffic. nobody's spoken to the impacts on children. i think this is the best alter
