like as mentioned earlier our mega hertz system is -- why can't we pick up the cell phone it's a different type of item you can push to connect totally different from the technology you get from our cell phone. we have over 7 thousand users on the network on the radio system it's heavily utilized. it needs to be replaced and we're undergoing the initiative now. the system was put in place in 2007. we put together some initiative estimates and we do estimate this is a large project between 65 and 69 million to put the system in place. and this includes the radios it's actually most of the of this cost. so what we've done is with this project we've followed the same plan that you use when you major capital development plans in the city and we've asked for the planning money first. as recent as may second point approved planning for the project it was about 8.1 million that will staff two positions in the department of emergency and in the department of technology. we'll have a consultant come on board to behind us with the streaming . for example, the communications income tax is being put t

as i shared with the students yesterday at hertz theater, when i see the film i can relate to instances when i was bullied as a kid. when i reflect upon being a student in the public schools, i can think about situations where i was a bully, where i said things, where i did things, when i went with the crowd, and i shared that with students yesterday. for me it was a very reflective time and i'm sure as everyone has seen the film it's been very reflective as well. but we started our school year this year saying we cannot have students learn, if we truly believe in social justice, and we do, we believe every student being able to learn is a matter of social justice. but if we can't have environments where students feel comfortable attending school, being comfortable with themselves and in themselves in a school environment we will never have students that are predicated in a way to be able to learn. we have to have safe schools. so what we did this year, when all of our administrators came back from summer break, every administrator from principals to the purchasing manager, everyone saw

you know, failure hertz. -- hurts. embarrassing, and can be mortifying sometimes. i talk about some of my failures in my book and they really sting. the hardest thing to do is to take chances where you can fail. us like the of security of doing things we think we can do. but you have to take a class that you might not be doing something well it. you have to do something that it took me until i was 50 years old to do it, to take a dance class. because my mother tells me that every time my cousin -- female cousins were learning how to dance at family parties i was outside chasing fireflies. and i cannot sit long enough to watch and listen and figure out how to dance. it took me until i was 50 to learn how to do a little awkward. because i felt sor and i'm not a good dancer, but try. take a course. take a course in something you don't think you can do. try a new activity after school, because it looks like fun and you might as well try it now, because when you get to college you might not have the time. so just take chances. yes? and then i will go to that at end in a
