again the desert southwest, a very big problematic area, is barstow, all the way into hesperia. but we have the area of low pressure that's been anchored off our coast for almost ten days now. that's been our safeguard. keep it all this precipitation due east of the bay area. but what it's also doing is continuing to funnel up the subtropical moisture in the form of some high humidity and the very muggy conditions. now we still have the rain that will continue to fall across the desert and the las vegas area. and as we watch our futurecast here, we see that while we are inundated with the cloud cover, there's a chance of a thunderstorm popping around 2:00 in the afternoon. and the gilroy area and lifting throughout the diablo range. the latest rains again will continue to fall with those watch areas and we will continue to monitor it right here on ktvu. thank you, roberta. and our coverage does continue online as well at ktvu. we have more incredible video from southern california as well as some updates on travel that is impacted. also starting today, robo taxis in san francisc
