hetch hetchy is about a quarter of it.hetch hetchy and the other reservoir, they can stay relatively full. at the height of the recent throughout 2015, the sfpuc had enough water in storage to last three years. on the far right you can see that the water bank is starting to fill getting into 2016. bay area storage not included in this slide. 2016 again, that was an average water year. into the summer, the tuolumne storage was back up to 85%. the bay area little bit lower because it was being constructed. in 85%, we have enough water in storage to last five years. keep in mind, three years of water in an average year, used a year's worth. we added two years into our storage. this is really quite enviable. at the same time, the state was still technically in drought. there were communities that were really struggling. here we have five years worth of water in storage. they have been the -- then we have the big water year in 2017. we needed 373,000-acre feet to fill the reservoirs. obviously there wasn't place to put all that

good part of the bay area relies on hetch hetchy reservoir in the water that comes down there. and of course, we haven't had a lot of snow. so that's an issue to 43% of normal in the northern sierra nevada. 46% of normal in the central sierra nevada and the southern sierra nevada. 23 1% of normal right now. hetch hetchy is running at a 118% of normal right now, but they're not going get a whole lot of snow melt this year as compared to previous years. now, one thing we do have hope for, though, is another rain event. and it looks like it's all holding together right now. this is not going to be a drought buster. this is not going to prove everything, but it will improve things a little bit, of course, is a comes through. but here it is put into motion here the next couple days look pretty nice. we're going to see some sunshine and a few clouds in those clouds really gathering on friday into saturday. but it won't be until sunday and there comes barreling into the bay area. i think by sunday morning significant rainfall event rolling through the bay area and then looks like we'l
