elizabeth cook in heyward. thank you elizabeth. >>> a good samaritan trying to break up an attack on a woman was attacked by her assailant. it happened in pittsburgh at the intersection of harbor street. juliette goodrich on how it went down. >> reporter: this is the trail in pittsburgh. curfew is at 10:00 and goes until 5:00 in the morning. here's what we've learned about the recent attack. police tell us that past curfew at 10:45 at night, a woman was held against her will by three suspects. a good samaritan tried to help the woman and the suspects then told him quote, don't try to be a hero, just go home. the suspects then grabbed the good samaritan and kicked him several times and even stabbed him. and just last month, a 19-year- old pittsburgh man was shot along the trail. the victim was reportedly approached by four men on the trail. words were exchanged and the victim was shot. what happened to the trail in your mind? is it just not safe? >> yeah. i wouldn't recommend anybody walk on it. >> like so long,

the family plans to set up a command center each morning in heyward. >> now turning to developing few f news, we're monitoring a major disruption to all houstony underground lines a lot of people are waiting here. this is at the intersection of church. feel are waiting to get on the train and a lot of people have been doing just this. this is what we know so far. the k., the l. and the m. lines have all been closed since 11:00 a.m. those lines are expected to be restored any minute. however, the real problem here are the n. and the j. line. they need about another eight to 10 hours before they will open. all of this was caused by an overhead wire that got damaged. what happened today before noon is a draffer actually ran into those lines and then, unaware, kept on driving. didn't know about the broken equipment. then that train kept dragging those wires down and that's why there is a major disruption to these five underground lines. houstony carries more passengers than any other transit system in the bay area. a lot of people affected here. we'll bring you the latest just as soon as
