. >>> a suspect accused of stealing a heyward police car and crashing it. ktvu joining us live from heyward with more on this situation that unfolded near the san mateo bridge, good morning. >>> good morning, alex, usually officers keep their engines running in their patrol cars in this case officers were investigating a crash when the driver involved stole their cruiser. that happened last night at about 9:20 at rocksbury and oaks drive. as officers were arriving to investigate the crash the driver hopped into the police car and took off. officers chased the car which ended up on the san mateo bridge at 9:45 the thief collided into three other cars on highway 92 east of the toll plaza, the stolen police car landed in the ravine, the accident shut down all left lane of the bridge, at least three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries the suspect caught but first taken to the hospital for treatment all the westbound lanes opened up before midnight, but there are questions that remain as to how the suspect was able to steal that patrol car and

oakland police officer brian buntin did not speak to reporters when he appeared before a judge in heyward this afternoon and he pled not guilty to felony of misdemeanor charges. he's among seven officers charged with their alleged involvement with a teenager who went by the name of celeste gaup. >> a string of armed robberies targeting street vendors. michelangelo lopez and richard cortez lopez are suspected in at least 13 armed robberies between july 30th and september 16th. several of these victims reported being beaten and pistol whipped during the incident before having their money, phones and food taken. >>> san francisco police are looking for suspects in two violent incidents last night and in the first the three women attacked a 29-year-old woman at 16th and folsom streets. the robbers head-butted and punch the woman in the head a number of times apparently before stealing her wallet and in the second incident four men carjacked a 59-year-old woman at knifepoint on hickory street in hayes vale. the woman was not hurt and in both cases the robbers stole the victim's cell phones as

he's been edified now has 29- year-old matteo giroux from heyward. this is hayward's night homicide. berkeley police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital. it happened at 10:00 last night. police say they found the victim inside of a car that crashed nearby. that person was taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries, right now it's not clear what led up to the shooting and this case as well, no arrests so far have been made. >>> the teenager who says she was sexually exploded is now seeking millions of dollars in compensation. attorneys for 19-year-old jasmine abuslin have filed a legal claim against the city of oakland. it's the first step towards a potential lawsuit. seeking $66 million in damages now. they accused oakland police officers as using abuslin for sex trafficking. and accuse the city of allowing it to happen. >> these criminal police officers are hypocrites. they are more scandalous than the priest who molested boys all over the world. because these officers knew better. they knew they were break
