it happened at one this morning on 93rd avenue at 78th court in hickory hills. the driver of the car was arrested. the officers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. chicago police say a 95-year- old woman was attacked and sexually assaulted inside her home on the city's far south side. it happened tuesday night, after the woman answered her door for someone she thought she recognized. the man forced his way inside her home on the 11-hundred block of west 110th place. he then beat the woman and sexually assaulted her. she was taken to the hospital with bruises and cuts. no arrests have been made. a woman convicted of killing a chicago police officer is sentenced to life in prison. robin johnson shot and killed officer richard francis in 2008 ... after taking his weapon during a scuffle on a c-t-a bus. the widow of officer francis told the judge she can't forgive johnson for tearing apart her family. johnson has a history of mental illness and told the judge that she doesn't remember what she did. closing arguments are set to begin today
