i literally created very little stink particularly in high school. you come in, to give you homework to do and keep your mouth shut and you do your homework and come back. my ability to do that about me to stay in school. my brother and sister in many ways were braver and definitely more troubles. my sister is gay and at that time we all knew she was but my mother was pretty basic with everything. love you, like girls or boys? she didn't even talk about it like that way. you are just my child. we had a structure in society there was nothing like it is today so that was an oddity, not something people work on their sleeve, particularly in a school that i went to being black, my brother noticed this, definitely as a black boy. my sister noticed her different through the school as well and i was probably the most in my family so until i reached high school, i went to a phenomenal high school -- at the time for educational standards even though it was an educational foundational educational place, i didn't have computer classes, we didn't have calculators
