to create a binder that was his early years his high school years his time in. and and his time afterwards and you know for me it was it was amazing to sort of watch. this man's life unfold personally and then as a reporter, i was like, oh my gosh, there's all this great stuff that she's collated and put in binders for me to sort of go through and i'll never forget the the most affecting thing for me that day and i was you know, flipping through pictures some of the photos appear in the book from one babe was a little boy and but the most affecting thing for me was flipping through a binder. i came across this sort of maybe eight by eight size felt letter and it was an h and m in bright blue and white and it looked brand new and i realized that it was babe's varsity letter from the heart mountain eagles football team. and you know for anyone who's played high school sports you remember getting a varsity letter you remember what that meant whether it was, you know, soccer or baseball basketball field hockey, whatever that may have been i don't know where mine are

we've got the irish color guard here from dublin high school.are you guys glad you got out of school today to be here? boy. that was a resounding yes, i have elliot polit. he is the director here at the band. tell us how many kids and how. how you put this all together. the irish guard marching band and color guard has about 170 students. this is a small subset made up of the top concert band, the wind ensemble and the jazz ensemble. so we're missing our color guard and a few of the members from symphonic band, but in total, it's a huge band practice super hard 12 hours a week, we got percussion and color guard practicing monday night 6 to 9 p.m. wednesday. a 69 for all 170 members, and then it's a six day week job there. there on saturdays from 10 am to five pm, of course, always showing up early and staying late. i know you've got to have a lot of passion. it's like being an athlete in high school, and, um 170. that's already kids. it's the biggest ever. it's the largest classification marching band. talk about that dedication. these kids get
