and the following year 1964, we moved up to highland park which is a northern suburb of chicago. about 25 miles north of chicago. that's where i went to high school. that's where i started acting in high school plays. mark: before you started acting, what kind of a kid were you? >> well -- [laughter]. mark: little rough? >> yeah, i think -- i think some of the moves that we made early on because we moved -- we moved when i was nine or ten years old and moved again when i was in seventh grade, and moved again right after freshman year. there were certain moves i think. it's disorienting for a kid to get embedded with a certain group of friends and then get displaced and have to make new friends and all of that. so i had a little trouble. plus, i might have been diagnosed with some sort of learning disability back then, if they kind of were doing that because i had a hard time reading, i had a hard time writing, so academics were always a struggle for me. i was kind of a day dreamer kid, you know? there's always some, and i was always doing that. i loved sports. i got into music in

( darya )breaking overnight news.police are investigating a triple shooting in antioch....one person has died. the shooting happened around one this morning at hillcrest avenue and larkspur drive....that's an applebee's parkingperson died at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. a third victim drove themselves to the hospital. no word about the gunman. ( darya ) and in the east bay... police in contra costa county arrested several people and impounded three cars as a part of a crack down on illegal sideshows. these are pictures form some of those sideshows. this is in antioch. a total of 42 citations were issued and 3 people were arrested. ( james ) happening today... the man accused of killing five people at a maryland newspaper will make his first court appearance. police say ramos used a shotgun to blast his way into the capital gazette newsroom on june 28. the capital newspaper had written about ramos pleading guilty to harassing a former high school classmate in 2011. ramos unsuccessfully sued the writer and the newspaper's publisher for defamation. police arrested ramos in the newsroom. they say he blocked an exit before shooting his way through ( james ) still
