highlander andn rosa parks seeing that they would have to do this themselves. parks two weeks, was a goes to tennessee and joins with 48 other people to develop a plan for the implementation of school desegregation. this is tremendously good for spirits. it's the first time she feels that she could speak and eat and meet with white people without hostility. she liked waking up in the morning and having white people make her breakfast area a woman who member -- many of the workshops, she is a teacher who had been fired because she refused to give up her membership of the naacp. she's another huge inspiration and mentor for rosa parks. how calmlly admires she is, and she feels so nervous. and so worn down. do manyast day they workshops, everybody is supposed to say what they are going to do when they go back. and rosa parks says nothing is ever going to happen in montgomery. white resistances too enormous and the community is not unified and won't stick together. so i'm going to work with the young people. so the idea that rosa parks just one day did what she did
