larry hinkel will be making stops at fire stations, police stations, and v.a.'s across the country. tower in iraq. since then he's several of his colleagues struggling with ptsd waiting years to get help from the v.a. larry had to wait 5 1/2 years to get all of his claims resolved by the v.a. when a friend of his committed suicide, he knew he needed to raise awareness, starting this national campaign moving from the east coast to the west coast. he named this tour "the hump." larry left north carolina back at the beginning of april. he arrived here this afternoon. while he's here, he'll be making his way by foot within individual cities. he uses an rv to get city to city. by foot, he's visiting a variety of first responders, giving them meals, giving them gift cards in order to thank them for all that they do. >> this, more than anything, has helped me. getting to reconnect with your family, your brothers and your sisters, and these first responders that put it all on the line daily. if i can get one thing out of this, it's to let people know that there are options, that final -- wh
