lost a life. >> reporter: after the crash hinson ran from the scene. police caught him around 30 minutes later. tonight officers tell us they stopped hinson because he was driving without headlights. he was on probation for an armed carjacking in prince george's. charlie viverett's wife is too upset to talk about what happened. >> i'm going to keep them in their prayers. >> reporter: tonight hinson is facing first and second degree assault on a police officer, charges along with other traffic-related offenses. i'm shomari stone, news 4. >>> two women told fairfax county police they were lured to a burke, virginia home by the promise of a job but were drugged and sexually assaulted instead. the women here in the u.s. from mongolia say they for work at ballston common mall in maryland. another mongolian woman approached them and offered them work in a house-cleaning business. they were driven to the house by a man and once inside they were offered wine. both said they soon blacked out and remember very little else. >> this was an ongoing investigation. c

tom: police say hinson was already on probation for armed carjacking. he's now facing assault, theft, traffic, and possibly other charges. police say their officers were right to pursue him. >> based on the fact that the individual had committed a first degree assault against one of our officers. tom: police say after hinson hit the cars in this area behind me, he got out and fled on foot towards the mailer road metro station over there. they were able to catch him a half-hour later. as far as that police officer, he was hit on his right leg. also his right shoulder. that said, he will be ok police say. but again, the one man in the accident lost his life because of it. reporting live in temple hills i'm tom roussey, abc 7 news. leon: thanks, tom. police are looking for the suspects in a deadly hit-and-run crash that shut down the b.w. parkway for most of the morning. this happened in the northbound lanes just before 3:00 in the morning south of route 202 in cheferly. witnesses say a lincoln struck a ford mustang and that mustang rolled over and caught

police arrested hinson after finding him hiding under another car. tom roussey will have new developments in that story coming up at 5:00 right here. alison: moving to other news now. he was in jail and didn't know why. leon: now a deaf man is suing the arlington county sheriff's office for not supplying him with an interpreter after he was booked. chris papst spoke with that man today and has more of the allegations in this case. chris? chris: not only does this man say he wasn't given an interpreter, when he first got here to the arlington county detention center, he says he wasn't given one for the entire six weeks that he spent inside of this building. and now, he's filing a lawsuit to seek money for those damages. now, his name is abraham gagahu. he is deaf. and on february 2nd, he was booked into the arlington county jail after an acquaintance of him falsely accused him of stealing an ipad at the airport. the veteran who is homeless says his rights were violated for not being offered an interpreter for the entire six weeks. he does know america
