put the video on the world star hiphop website. it went viral. other parents started to also question the policy. i spoke a parent who similar situation here at northeast high school. he admits his daughter was wrong for having the cell phone but thinks that the policy goes way too far. >> policies they're policies they're not law. theft is theft. i felt the utmost disrespect as parent. but in this particular case whatever her issue is regarding the cell phones, i somewhat get it but there's a part of this that doesn't make sense give the phone back. >> principal carol wouldn't speak to me on camera but she did talk to me on the phone told me she stands by her policy. policy that attorney ken rothweiler told me may not even be legal. >> this is governmental agency this school is illegally seizing someone's private property. you cannot do that under the constitution of the united states. therefore, it violates the constitution and it's actionable under federal law. >> ya'll trying to keep our phones. it doesn't make sense. i need my phone. >> worl
