his phone to search facebook during the actual shooting. now the information suggesting that the phone was also used by the gunman to text his wife. telling cnn about two hours into the shooting itself, the gunman actually texted his wife, noor salman, two hours south of here asking if she had quote seen the news. noor salman responded by calling her husband, but by texting and texting her husband quote i love you. eventually, though, the calls were not answered and texts were not answered and police showed up at her home early on sunday morning according to the police chief and told her what happened. that leaves the question how much did she know? she told investigators that her husband mentioned launching some form of attack. the question is was it this actual attack planned and will she be the first person to face charges? a grand jury will have to weigh the evidence to see if she is the first person to be arrested and charged in connection with the pulse nightclub shooting. we are getting details about the gunman's efforts to actually obtain that body armor. moments after the shooting happened, we learned he tried to purchase

his wife. one of the key witnesses in the case. the gunman texting his wife to see if she had seen the news. noor salman reported and texting saying i love you and didn't get a response. it is important to point out the texts were exchanged at 4:00 a.m. two hours into the pulse nightclub shooting. clearly, investigators are taking a good look at her version of events as they continue to compile evidence. evidence presented to a grand jury. now usually grand juries meet monday through friday. it is possible we do not hear the final decision as to whether or not noor salman will be charged in the case. we will not hear that until next week. we will look out for that today. we are learning new information about the gunman and his attempts to allegedly purchase body armor. my colleague, drew griffin had an opportunity to speak to the owner of the gun shop in jensen beach which is south of ft. pierce, florida. he told the fbi that he initially called in suspicious individuals trying to purchase body armor. this was several weeks before the shooting. investigators did look into that and determined
