his soul has been formed by the sacrament of holy orders. in the sense that he believes the universal call to holiness must be lived in service. the greatest service the church does for the world, he would say i believe, is to tell the world it's true story. one way to think about the problem of the human condition going back to add a many is the world has forgotten its story. they must remind the world that the true story of humankind is the story whose chapter headings are creation, fall, promise, in telling the world story, reminding the world of the true story the pope would go once say the story is sometimes, many times best told not by argument, not by philosophical speculation, that by example. i think mother teresa looms very large in the pope's sense of the example. they were great friends. i asked the pope wants to describe the friendship and he said quite simply we didn't need a lot of words. we didn't need a lot of words. there is this intuitive connection between this albanian nun who found herself in the gutters of calcutta and

holy father, we adored her.nd i went in search of our faith. we had to really seek god for whom he is, then we met -- gradually we learned to integrate our faith into our daily lives. then, in this way we have a better understanding of one another. and happiness gradually came into the relationship. today we have four children. though along the line we had one that was a stillborn, a second daughter. our love for children came amidst criticism and ridicule from family and friends. but we felt because of the new culture in which some harsh relatives of marriage are not considered from a super natural point of view. behold, these children will follow demonstration of god's love in our lives. and so far as a family we pray together. we attend mass together, we took advantage of teachable moments to find out what the children had gained from the mass. and their perfection of everything about life according to their age. we have also made sure that we engage them through spiritual -- expose them to spiritual formatio

the the holy father has kind of a route to become a jesuit.oint in the very beginning, he kept it secret for almost four years, and he was even interested in becoming a priest, he didn't even know then. what i think is beautiful you can take a page back. i talk to some of these young men. i said how did you know you had calling to become a priest. so, you look back in the early story of pope francis and he was on his way to join friend a at a party. the story goes that he was going past a church and he said he felt called from within to go inside the church and he went to confession, sacrament of penance within the doctrine of the catholic church he was drawn into that from what he said and then he said something happened to him when he was in there and he felt that moment that he was there that he became a priest. so within his heart, he had that conversion and then it was his process of ultimately studying and telling his family and then being with his friend. from what i understand he never did go to that party. >> good thing he didn't. >>
