san francisco city vehicle. the driver was arrested after he fled the scene. >> the victim was with her child when she was hit by a city vehicle. it happened in holland park in san francisco's bernal eighth neighborhood. >> good evening. police this evening are telling us the driver was in fact a city employee. he was an employee of the parks and recreation and, there was a slope, i'd decline, and we didn't know at the time but he either didn't see or didn't know the woman was there. he ran over her and that woman was lying in the grass. she had a child and a dog with her. the driver did not stop. we don't know if he fled the scene where he didn't know he hit the woman, but police have since caught the driver. neighbors all around the park are in shock. it has never happened here. after police concluthe investigation the fire department was here and they continue to spray away whatever degree was left following an accident. tonight just before sunset, neighbors were out here laying flowers at the grass for the woman who was struck and killed. more on this story as it develops in san francisco. >> if you're not, you are, holy park is just north of int
