annie yu is there with the top story on the latest developments, good morning to you wisdom and holly, it's called daddy o 5 and a solid following more than 7,000 subscribers they posted this video an hour ago basically saying their family has received death threats and the situation has really gone too far over what they call fake utube pranks and this backlash put their family in reel danger. they received a lock of backlash for recent video and made national headlines. these parents basically exploited their kid and abused them for the sake of pranks. take a look at original video in question. it left a lot of viewers out ranged and parent are under fire they played a sxwrok on kody which ends up leaving him crying hysterically in this video. their son previously spilled ink all over the carpet and so they staixed another spill on bedroom carpet using disa disappearing ink placing blame on him in profanity lace and screaming tirade. many parents were this comments section was riddled with answeringy feedback accusing parents of of abusing kids for sake of these pranks. some viewers

ene of the most experienced reporters in the region is our holly williams. holly? >> reporter: scott, the problem is that the u.s. does not have any good options in syria. th's tried diplomacy, both with the syrian regime and with its ally, russia, and that hasn't succeeded in ending this conflict, which has already killed hundreds of thousands of people. diother option is some kind of direct military intervention against the syrian regime, for instance, with air strikes. the problem is that would increase the likelihood of a collision with a russian aircraft, and the u.s. would also risk being drawn into a conflict with russia. that helps explain why the u.s. has very deliberately avoided that option so far, instead focusing its air strikes and its troops in syria on the fight against isis. now, the syrian war zone is a very fractured and complicated place with lots of different militias and rebel groups, some of them the u.s. supports with their ammunition and weapons, and others it has labeled as terrorist groups. and in that environment, scott, it is very diffi

holly williams has the story. >> reporter: this is the face of syria's civil war. al yusef lost 29 of his family members last week, including his wife and twin babies. i wanted my daughter aya to be a doctor, he said, and achmed was going to be my sidekick. he buried them on wednesday, the day after the attack on his hometown. you chose to carry your babies in your arms to be buried. why did you do that? because that's how i carried them when they were alive, he said. i loved them so much, and i know they loved me too. abdel hamid told me he put them next to each other in their grave and told them not to be scared. even in the cruelty and chaos of syria's six-year-long conflict, the attack stands out for its brutality. it happened on abdel hamid's second anniversary with his wife. six years ago, he told us, he was taking part in peaceful protests against the syrian president, bashar al-assad. an uprising that met with violence. assad is a criminal, he said. all we wanted was dignity and freedom. do you think that the american missile strike will make any difference

holly williams is there. >> reporter: the problem for the u.s. is that it doesn't have any good options in syria. it's tried diplomacy, both with the syrian regime and with its ally russia, and that hasn't succeeded in ending this conflict, which has already killed hundreds of thousands of people. now, another option is some kind of direct military intervention with the regime, that is, air strikes. the problem is it would likely increase the likelihood of a collision with russia and ha helps explain why the u.s. has very deliberately avoided that option so far, instead focusing its air strikes and its troops on the fight against isis. now, the syrian war zone is a very fractured and complicated place with lots of different militias and rebel groups. the u.s. supports some and others it has labeled terrorists and in that environment it's very difficult for the u.s. to find effective and reliable partners on ground. holly williams, cbs news, an tack ya, on the syria/turkey border. >>> ahead on "cbs this morning," requirement to nominate a supreme

"say gone, my loves," he said. before he buried them along with his wife and several other family members. turkey's government said today that initial findings suggest it was sarin nerve agent. the chief suspect is the syrian regime, in part because the target was in a rebel-controlled area that's been pummeled with air strikes by the regime and its ally, russia. witnesses from the town of khan sheikhoun say the chemicals were dropped on them from the air. the explanation for this atrocity given by russia and the syrian regime is that a conventional regime air strike hit a chemical weapons facility run by rebel forces. but a conventional strike, say experts, would actually destroy these chemicals, not disburse them. and wouldn't produce scenes like this-- people with no visible wounds foaming at the mouth and suricating to death. syria's foreign minister claimed today that his government has not and w
