worked at, home school legal defense association filed a federal civil rights lawsuit on behalf of holly curry and her family. holly is a mom of six kids. a little bit prior to this in 2017 she was taking her six kids to karate class, and stopped at the local convenience store to pick up muffins for her kids. and she came out. two sheriff's deputies were out there, and told her she could not leave her children alone and then she had to go to child protective services. an a knock on the door, i'm a social worker and holly knew her rights and she said you need a court order and i want to see identification. the social worker refused to show identification, refused warrant or court order. let me in, talk to your kids or i'll remove them. holly said no. she left, a few minutes later-- few hours later they came with a sheriff's deputy, we'll-- they did not have a court order. and holly in fear of being removed, the children were interviewed, and strip searched, including the minor children, including a female minor in front of a male sheriff's deputies. case was unfounded. we filed the civil lawsui
