fox 5's holly morris has more from the howard medical center. >> he is working.emand. he is like rock star status around here. the day is going smoothly everything as planned. there is a line outside, doors opened up just after 8:00. and there are 1,000 people that signed up ahead of time in order to get these free 15- minute physicians. so they come through about 125 every hour or so. and there's five different things that they are looking for in order to give people an assessment of where their health is. so they take their blood pressure, they take their weight, they take their waist size. they also do a blood prick on their finger and they can get two things from that, their blood sugar which is a sign of diabetes and then test their cholesterol. when they get the results they do the analysis, they then talk with the patient to find out, you know, this is where you stand, this is what your numbers of concern are, and then here's your game plan, your plan of action in terms of how you can become healthier. now, obviously, each person individually is getting hi

our holly morris has more and joins us live from the howard medical center. holly? >> reporter: well, i tell ya, you know what, people can't get enough of this guy because he is a wealth of knowledge on all things not just your health but on how you can be healthier because we were talking not too long ago we talked to a young lady named tanya who just got her results back and there were two areas that were at risk for her that she needed to work on but she talked with you and you brought up the point that this is a woman who works full time and doesn't have healthcare. >> she runs a daycare center. takes care of other people's kids but doesn't have insurance for herself. and her triglyceride levels the fat in her blood was so high that she had an oil slick inside of her. she is a walking time bomb. she is 42 years old. the fact that she didn't have insurance is holding her back. but part of the reason we have these 15-minute check-ups is we can give you a list of facilities, these are all in the washington area, by the way, and there's dozens of facilities here, al
