oklahoma mayor david holt joins me now, mayor, good to have you, thanks for your time this morning. have publicly noted the financial hit to your city, revenue down in oklahoma city i understand at least 5%, unemployment 15% in april, now just under 5%. what are the biggest challenges for oklahoma city right now? >> well, like many local governments, we're highly dependent on sales tax so we felt the covid recession faster and stronger than maybe other levels of government and many cities are dependent on sales tax. so as you said, we're down about 5% for this fiscal year and we've had to freeze hiring, and cut services that people depend on and, you know, referencing my quote that you shared, we are a major employer, one of the largest employers in oklahoma city. we have 4800 employees and most cities are the largest or near the largest employers in their city. though we're very grateful for some direct funding that went to large cities back in the spring through the cares act, that could only be used, as it should be, for covid response and we used it that way and helped our small
