i own honeywell. i really like that stock i think they can grow their earnings above what the sector can do but i think as a rule, my expectation is that they're going to be able to engineer earnings growth better in a slow growth environment than perhaps some more of the cyclical parts of the economy i could be wrong as well that is my view. that is where i'm anchoring my porfolio in order to take advantage of what i do think is going to be a slower growth but not recessionary environment that's going to continue to be supported by positive corporate spend. >> amy, last comment to you and then we break. >> yeah. i would take the other side of that i actually think the large cap tech guys are in for a serious growth slowdown. if you look at the largest contributors to capex, which has been strong for the first, you know, eight months of the year, it's been software and services. we think of those businesses as capital light businesses but they're investing a lot to try to buy growth. and the cloud is
