he's not forwarding it to hope hicks, the question is has hope hicks forwarded it to donald trump who i don't think does e-mail that much. that's a big question for the committee. and then finally very quickly, what i'm very curious about is what did he have commentary in those forwarded e-mails. so all the sudden now we learn about those e-mails. he forwards the wikileaks e-mail to hope hicks. does it say, this is outrageous? we shouldn't be talking to wikileaks? does it say this is so cool, look what we got. and that is -- mueller knows that so jared kushner needs to fess up. it's a very bad day for jared kushner. >> the communication we learned about this week between donald trump jr. and wikileaks, i mean, this is a sticking point here. could this amount to perjury for kushner? >> well, i think, you know, in and of itself it's going to be -- it can be a challenge because he's going to say i didn't remember that, i forgot that e-mail, et cetera, and i think what juliette was saying is, you know, the question is how much -- how many lies were there? what evidence does, for example,

so what we're going to have with hope hicks on the stand is a chance for the mueller team to take all of this information, all of thieves statemenof these they have been told, some of which she will be prepared for to back up, but they must have something through all their investigation that she won't be prepared for. she is the person who has been within the white house tempering donald trump, she is the one who he trusts who can often rein in some of his worst instincts and she's used to watching his back. she will be in a situation where she will have to either answer the question truthfully or protect him and hope that they don't have something that she's not aware of. >> joey, having hope hicks testify before the mueller investigative team, what does that tell you about where they are at? >> it tells you that they are digging in team and they have gotten to certainly a very important person being that communication person who should know what is going on. you don't know what documents they have reviewed, what information they have gotten from other people, what stories they have

look, the future of america is not going to rise and fall on whether hope hicks or any of these other people go to jail, get convicted. it is donald trump who is the most powerful person in the world, who holds the american nuclear codes in his hands. so all of this only matters to the extent that it works its way up to whether or not donald trump has committed impeachable offenses. and by the way, the special counsel can impeach the president. he can only recommend that to the u.s. house. >> last we spoke was in april. robert mueller was yet to be appointed. we know a lot more now than then. back in april, this is what you said about what could be the road to impeachment. here we are. listen to this. >> if members of his team in any way colluded with russia's reprehensible attack on our democracy in the last election and trump knew about it, that's a serious crime, not reporting treason. heaven forbid if trump was involved in collusion. he could be the first president to be charged with treason. an explicit ground for impeachment under the constitution. >> since then, at least nine p

we're told the hope hicks interview may happen as soon as this week. crucial question, it's not clear whether hicks will be called to testify to the grand jury. in addition to speaking with muller's prosecutors in an interview setting. so we don't know when the hope hicks interview and/or testimony will be but we expect it should be any day now if it hasn't happened already. so like i said, busy day.
