horatio sanz. it was just a really, really fun time. emily: so why did you stop?ick: well, unlike some of those people, i didn't get any of these things i auditioned for. so i eventually decided i need to go back to, you know, figuring out how to make money. emily: i imagine people in the front row screaming at you in the annoyance theater, and i wonder if improv comedy is good training for dealing with wall street. [laughter] dick: well, i will say this. i remember -- when you are improvising, people are constantly yelling at the stage and so forth. i did this show. and about three minutes into this hour-long show, these delightful, drunk australian people started yelling, you know, "you suck. get off." emily: so you went into consulting? dick: yeah, so the internet took off. and -- this is early 1993. i remember us getting the ac.com domain for anderson consulting. and i just went off with a couple friends and started one of the first, you know, web design and development shops. sold that. started working on a -- what ended up being this really early group-based
