legal analyst sunny hostin is on the case on this.guez's claim of self-defense? it is pretty unusual. >> i think it is everything, actually, this video, because in self-defense cases and really in any case it is where someone is killed, it is very rare that you have a video tape sort of outlining the altercation, especially in a self-defense case when credibility means everything, where someone's version of events means everything. this is very unusual because you have almost a seven or eight-minute video just capturing the entire thing. >> this is yet another case that appears that puts this so-called stand your ground laws in the spotlight, best known now from the george zimmerman case in florida over the shooting of trayvon martin. do you think the state will take a second look or are where he talking about it more. >> we're talking about it more, no question about that. i do think the states will be looking at it. when you listen to that video, one of the things he does say is i am standing my ground here. actually referencing the

i want to bring in sunny hostin, what's the problem, because it's location-based?but i did go online and get the app and apparently it is this sort of location-based dating application that has about 5 million subscribers. and it's really interesting in that you get to meet and perhaps hook up with people that are nearby you. now, it has that sort of gps technology. it doesn't necessarily tell everyone where you are. but you do know that people are quite close to you, within about half of a mile. and so i think that is what has been so problematic, it is that location-based application that has led to all of these problems. >> yeah, you just also never know who's on the other end of that app, obviously, in three of these cases. skout says they have some safeguards in place, they're working on more, but can they really guarantee, you know, 100%, even if it's still location-based, that the kids are safe, that they're using it? >> well, no, of course not. they really can't guarantee that, but they have clearly tried to be good corporate citizens with, and the company

. >> we're also joined by two former prosecutors, jeff toobin and sunny hostin. jeff what do you think about as you await this jury? because we know that they asked today to look over the transcripts of testimony by mike mcqueary, one of the coaches who said he saw jerry sandusky in the showers with a very young boy. with jerry sandusky pressed up against this young boy. also, they reviewed a defense witness transcripts who said the initial story that jerry sandusky told him differs from what he said on the stand. >> this is an overwhelming case. his attorney is guilty of the crime of honesty, because he like every one else who has followed this case closely, i think, i don't want to speak for every one, but certainly i speak for many, we'd all have heart attacks if there was an acquit al here, because there was close to know defense in this case. sure, the defense raised the possibility that some of the witnesses had told different versions of the story, they raised the issue some of them might have a financial motive, but when you have eight defendants that is

let's get perspective from our legal panel, sunny hostin. start with what sarah said. mcqueary's story, three times, previously said two times. any change in testimony, is that significant enough? >> no, it's not going to be significant enough, especially because he really remains steadfast in what he saw. while i think the defense scored perhaps some points in terms of his recollection of the dates, they really didn't i think shake his testimony in terms of his recollection, john, of what he actually saw. he has maintained the same story once, twice, three times. testified in front of the grand jury, at the preliminary hearing, and he maintains he saw jerry sandusky sexually assaulting a young boy. >> and you're a former prosecutor, you know what it is like in a courtroom in a high stakes case when you hear about victim number one and is that testimony, sunny, staring at jerry sandusky, breaking down, crying at one point, talk about the impact on the jury in a case like this. >> it is significant. this is my expertise. i tried sex crimes. i know how difficult it is fo

let's go to sunny hostin. she's on the case for us. sunny, this is unbelievable story.ury inside that building has no idea what matt is claiming. they don't know what's going on with that part of the story. >> reporter: they don't. we heard about this after the jury already started deliberating. what's very interesting, and i think the question on everyone's minds is why did this not come out before? why was this not part of the trial? we are learning that matt sandusky just came forward. he may testify. he contacted the prosecutors through an attorney,et with t me tt he had too had been molested by his adopted father. my understanding is he didn't testify because jerry sandusky was not charged with his molestation. of course, had jerry sandusky testified to a certain relationship with matt, sandusky, if jerry had gotten on the witness stand during the defense case and said he had a wonderful relationship with the children, then that would have opened up the door for matt sandusky to testify. >> did this happen before matt sandusky was adopted by jerry sandusky? he was

mark geragos and sunny hostin. as a criminal defense attorney, mark, i'm curious to get your take on what happened. has zimmerman done real damage to his case? if you hear benjamin crump he said this is the most important ruling because it totally destroys zimmerman's credibility about the night of the shooting. >> i think -- i don't think that it totally damages his credibility. is it bad? yes. there's no sugarcoating of it. i think you might remember, anderson, we talked about this, the night you led off. i think you reported first about the money that was in that account and i said at the time i know a lot of judges that would have remanded him into custody right there and then. so this judge gave him quite a bit of string to play out before remanding him into custody. and i would tend to agree with mr. crump, i think that it will -- if he takes the stand, this is something especially because it dealt with this judge in this courtroom, that's something this judge is going to let in. having said all of that, i do

sunny hostin was here.it was based on law or more emotion that they think this man did what any father would do? >> under texas law justifiable force, deadly force can be used to stop a sexual assault. there is no question that the law supported what he did and protected what he did. did emotion play a part in it? of course it did. i believe it did considering just all the feedback that i've been getting on twitter, on facebook. people are really, really fired up about what happened here. >> speaking of emotion, have to play this 911 call. this is the father's call to 911 for the first time. this was played during the prosecutor's news conference. >> find where i live. i don't know nothing. i don't know what to do. i don't know what to do. >> you can hear the sort of voice waivering. i don't know what to do. i don't know what to do. it's impossible to know what role the phone call played in the decision, but obviously it factored in. >> it had to have been a factor. what's interesting to note on that call h

sunny hostin is on the case. this is a long time gone by.here this woman is falsely accused. she lost her child back in 1980. what kind of legal recourse sdos she have? >> you would think she wants recourse. everybody remembers hearing about this case. interestingly enough, she says she's at the end of her legal journey. she has gotten everything out of the legal system that she wanted. she walked out with a death certificate so she can finally put that to rest. what a legal journey it's been. i've been doing some research on it. apparently four coroner inquests. one murder trial. one judicial inquiry and various federal and high court appeals over 30 years. the baby would have been 32 years old this year. this is, as she says, the end of her legal journey. >> i can't say i blame her just wanting to finally move past it. l let's move to the next case. this town has banned cursing in public. this town voted to fine people who drop some of these forbidden words out in the open. they are looking at something like 20 bucks per vulgar violation.

let's bring in mark geragos and former prosecutor sunny hostin. mark, let me start with you. about love letters, letters he allegedly wrote to the victims, how big of a problem is that to the defense? >> well, depends. you always hear before any of these trials start, there's always a leak right on the eve of jury selection. that's purposely done. usually comes from the prosecution's camp. they leak out this nmpls information. they try to make it look at damning as possible. i think we should wait to see what the letter says. the idea there are gifts. this is a coach, somebody in a charitable organization. they're taking at-risk youth. that is not something that necessarily is going to look damning. i agree with the reporter, though. the thing this case is going to turn on number one is obviously jury selection. and number two, how the witnesses come across. and that's what it's going to turn on. it's not going to really matter at the end of the day what the letter says. i highly doubt there's some letter that confesses any that i did it or i had sex with you or anything else

sunny hostin is on the case.unny, the court documents say this had been going on for 13 years and she made some admissions here. >> she did. she admitted to swapping and collecting child pornography since 1999. i have to tell you, ashleigh, what was so shocking to me is that she's a woman, actually. i've prosecuted child sex crimes and worked with the fbi. and that's how the fbi found out about this, through file sharing. that's one thing everybody should know. the fbi does watch. and the fbi has a wonderful child porn unit. >> they can track, they can share with you and find out where you are and find out where your computer is. >> absolutely. what was shocking to me really is that statistically it is very rare for women to be involved in child porn. it's something we used to say at the justice department all the time, women and child porn don't go together. it's counterintoouitive, women mothers are usually very nurturing. >> sometimes money talks. this is a $50 billion a year business and that women who do get
