as we look at the highs for today, starting with the south bay, it is hot, hot, hot. 99 degrees in morgan hill with lots of sun and san jose is 92 and santa clara is 93 along the coast in santa cruz and 79. on the peninsula, 71 degrees and comfortable at half moon bay and cooler in pacifica and 87 in san mateo and 91 in palo alto. as we head to san francisco, the high is 78 and 70 in the sunset district and 78 in south san francisco. as we move into the north bay, 93 is the high in novato and 93 in santa rosa and as we move to calistoga and napa and sonoma you will be in the mid-to-upper 90's out there. in the east bay, it looks like everything is relatively in the mid-80's near oakland and as you push to the inland areas you will see the triple dim its. very hot temperatures. 102 in san ramon and 105 in brentwood. our lows tonight will be chilly but we have a game today, the cubs versus the a's starting at 1:05. it will be warm. the lows are going to be 56 for a low at what half and 57 in santa cruz and 63 in fremont. in the lower 70's inland. traffic right now looks like it is quiet so
