been given the short term authorization that doesn't make sense, so my understanding is the house of representatives is going to actually put into the continuing resolution they are going to send over a long-term extension of the children's health insurance program. we are going to continue to have our kids receive the treatment they are getting. these are children that have serious health problems that need that kind of care and rely to be able to provide it. there are plenty of them and on lots of issues later today i'm sure this is one, the children's health insurance andne typically it's been one where we come together and agree they should have a basic healthcare. i came to the senate floor last month back in december to urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle and the leadership on my side of the aisle to take the politics ou out of the society d just get it done in the last spending bill. that wasn't done in fact it was just a short-term extension basically coincides with the spending bills that to me was disappointing and i said so at the time. now we have the opportunity to it, so let'
