howard brooks was paid $34,500.oks was accused of giving cash to sulaimon brown in exchange for negative comments about then mayor adrian fenty. payments also went to citadel partners. the company has one employee, ruben o. charles, the mayor's fundraiser and head of the transition committee. he for the $70,000. thomas goro was campaign treasurer and got 25,000. joining us now, wtop political analyst mark plotkin. what do you make of all that? >> well, the name howard brooks doesn't seem to disappear. howard brooks is the person, as you said, who sulaimon brown alleges was the person that gave him contributions from the gray campaign. the gray campaign, mayor gray, denies this and it seems to me that brooks is the mystery man. brooks is also we've been told granted immunity. the relationship with howard brooks obviously didn't end at the campaign when he was paid. it ended actually his last payment was in march of this year. so we haven't heard from howard brooks and howard brooks is really key and central to findin
