we have just learned from assistant chief howard jordan that two people in fact died during this shootout a look behind me you can see it happened at the very end of the street right where that fire truck is actually. they just finished hosing down an area there at the end of the street and the coroner arrived about half hour ago. right now look at video that our crews shot last night. ktvu was the first to arrive on scene and we were the only ones to get a look just minutes aft the shooting happened. now at 9:00 officers received some inside information that violence was about to erupt here. they got a tip on a target vehicle. a light blue van tailed by what they say was the victim's car a red lexus. within an hour and a half they spotted the cars and moved in. gunfire started. two suspects, the two that died were wounded and transported to the hospital where they later died. a third suspect took off. and neighbors say they were actually surprised by the violence here. >> well, this kind of behavior is shocking. i've been in this neighborhood since the mid-90s. i got to tell you neighbor
