we have a new one right here in the district and counties in close include montgomery county, howard county, parts of virginia as well including loudoun county under a winter weather advisory. the concern is light snow with accumulations up to about an inch. in the mountains, they could see up to 10 inches of snow before all is said and done. that winter storm warning in effect until 7:00 a.m. tuesday morning. our winter weather advisory is in effect until 9:00 this morning. a lot of rain yesterday. about 3/4 of an inch of rain moving through. look at the snow pop up in the last couple of frames. with the cold arctic air infiltrating, that kind of squeezes out the atmosphere. that will continue for the morning some flurries in the forecast this afternoon and very cold. high temperatures, you are looking at them in the mid-30s. we'll kind fall back as winds pick up out of the north and west. bundle up. it will be cold the next couple of days. temperatures critical the next couple of hours. 37 in washington. manassas, 30 degrees. you get the idea it will start to stick out to the west
