now, the mayor, i'm telling you this mayor has experienced everything from hrc where he was really focused on local businesses and went to purchasing about providing opportunities to local businesses and i worked closely with him because he was my boss at the department of public works and now the city administrator and now the mayor. it's a great honor to look at all the things we've been able to accomplish, the micro set aside program and job contracting and we look at ways to invest in local businesses, san francisco businesses because we feel with that will really help employee citizens of san francisco. with that i would like to introduce mayor ed lee. i'm going to speak candidly about him, i've worked with him over 3 years, i saw him serve on the hrc committee, i worked long hours with him, helping clients, working with employers, developing projects, working on proposals and he's got heart, loyalty, hope for the community. he's never lost that personable approach, people can come up to him like carry, he has a lot of support from the community, they trust him. he's very valuable to serving many of the folks from various districts in san francisco. it was an honor to work with him, i miss him as mission hiring hall but i work with him on a new project now and he's still helping people and you never forget the people that helped him get to where he's at and i know he's going to do big and her better things so please consider him, thanks. >> thank you, any other public comments? seeing none, public comment is now closed. mr. penn, you know, i just met him today and i feel really good about this nomination. he's got so much energy and, you know, his experience on all the different levels he brings in makes him a perfect candidate for
