in public health and hsa, both are benefitting from higher than projected levels of sales tax. revenues and projections are from the state budget and they have increased their projections and we brought up ours as well. at the human services agency, it's combination of increased revenue and that staff is spending their time is different under covid, they don't have to spend much time on medcal eligibility. police and fire departments, reporting a short fall here because the supplemental appropriation that closes the gap is pending at the board of supervisors. until that is approved, we have a short fall here. generally in many departments including these here. this is the other side of vacancies, we have seen a dramatic increase and shift in cost of workers comp claims. we think some of it is just attributed to folks working longer hours and sometimes working overtime or trying to do more to cover for some vacancies. this has been touched upon today in the meeting i think, but the city is grappling with a multi year hiring short fall for a couple of reasons. the city shifted al

they supplement the existing dedicated and professional hsa aa house sergeant at arms staff that we are to have. member security is my highest priority. the way i am approaching this, amber scared he has five dimensions -- member security has five dimensions. capital, residents, travel, events in districts, and overall threats to dish -- members. after january 6, all spaces within the capitol complex occupied by members have access to duress alarms so that security in the capital. i request resources for every member to have state-of-the-art home security package at their residence in the district of columbia in the metropolitan area and in their district residence echo. i also request resources for a member travel operations center to support all domestic and foreign travel i members. this would build on newly created partnerships within the department of homeland security specifically the transportation security administration and the department of state, specifically the overseas security advisory council which the house sergeant at arms has joined and this is helping us and regardin
