-- hsi. you have also collaborated with an organization called "club operators against sex trafficking" to provide education and training to owners and employees of adult entertainment clubs throughout minnesota. they may be the most likely once to encounter signs of a sec sex trafficking victim, and this cannot be ignored. so, what cases have we investigated and prosecuted in my district here are a few examples. oneuld like to start with that deals with labor trafficking, because what is lost sometimes in this conversation about sex trafficking are forced labor cases. >> last year in a wealthy suburb paul, 2 local police officers encountered a woman wandering the streets at night, bloody, beat up and frail. china, she could see the airplanes moving toward our international airport, and was walking in the direction of the airport, many miles away. officers stopped her and spoke to her, and this is key, because of their recent training in human trafficking issues, they were quickly recognizing

ice, hsi conducts law enforcement operations. in ice, victim assistance specialist helped trafficking survivors rebuild their lives. uscis provides eligible noncitizens trafficking victims with immigration relief, and cvp not only identifies victims along our borders, but introducts trailer loads full of illegal aliens in many cases who are trafficked into our country, 77 yesterday in one trailer alone. and our federal law enforcement training center teaches law enforcement professionals to identify victims and conduct investigations. dhs is a large department. we are 200 -- almost 250,000 strong. and we leverage all of our law enforcement capabilities and capacity to target traffickers and to disrupt and dismantle their criminal enterprises throughout their pathways throughout the world. i'm sure you've talked a little bit today about transnational criminal organizations but i would like to add my voice to the specific part of the threat. tcus are using their networks to smuggle dangerous drugs, illegal aliens and potential terr
