a china that end well on one hand just a couple months ago president obama hosted chinese president hu jintao in a lovely thing a visit with the royal welcome his visit included various activities that portray the two leaders as friendly including of course a state dinner and also many speeches by president obama meant to highlight the strong relationship between the u.s. and china. the united states welcomes china's rise a strong prosperous and successful member of the community of nations. and the china success has brought with an economic benefits for our people as well as yours . so why then would the u.s. government want to fight against the chinese government turns out that could be what's happening according to british news reports which say the u.s. state department may be planning to provide thirty million dollars to britain's b.b.c. world service for anti jamming technology so it can penetrate china's networks earlier i spoke to georgetown university journalism professor chris chambers about all of this i asked him why the u.s.

though she and her predecessor have had decent relations with them as well and she has not yet met with hu tolerance. i think this is that you know it's been scheduled for this time i don't think it's a big indicator it's very clear that brazil has a very strong relationship with venezuela they've consistently defended their countries democratic practice it's very interesting that they have put a very big premium on integration within south america so just last week that when a sword at the union of south american countries came into existence and this is very clearly a process of regional integration that does not include the united states it's not necessarily meant to be against the united states but it's reasonable that the countries of south america have their own political association and that is a very big priority for brazil so i think she's going to continue that all these presidents are different none of them is the same you know we have one who is an indigenous person another who's an economist another who has a populist military background you know they're different but they do

i am meeting with president obama and president hu jintao. that was fantastic. while we were there, both of us did what we were supposed to do and what we could do and that is we met with every one we could about the business of our cities and in particular, i got to meet my very good friend, the commerce secretary i grew up with in seattle, washington and i applaud him for all of the money that they could possibly give us and we are already working on that and he said that china sf was one of the most integrated programs to ever -- innovative programs to come to the west coast. i got to meet the hud secretary and in the short time with all of the other mayors, we were able to talk about our building of housing at affordable housing and of the great partnership that we will have as the enrolls and has unrolled the federal homeless program at how that can match up with our program as well. we met with secretary -- and talk about job creation and discovered that we are working on linking up our community colleges and making sure that all of the students go to coll
