i will just recognize a few because we know them here victor huang who is our deputy director and price who is also our immigrant commissioner and i know many of your attorneys worked with us also have passed legislation due to the work that api legal outreach does throughout the city. i think it speaks highland -- highly to the dedication of the team and staff and works on the field to serve on these front line services. it's developing the leaders and the pipelines for our asian american communities and communities of color. i would like to thank api for my office, ivy lee who has done in credible work and api legal outreach not only provides the service to the most vulnerable in our community but the people of today and tomorrow and public servants of today and tomorrow in the bay area and that is why this is so important. we look forward to the gala on friday. the academy of sciences and we hope that many people come out to support and look forward to another 40 years of these incredibly vital services but also continue to go develop the pipeline services in the asian american commu
