so up the hudson river valley, temperatures are great. should be around 32, but it's 47 around poughkeepsie and kingston, 43 around white plains and over to rockland county. we got a calm wind this morning which makes the day start out feeling rather nice. so it looks like it's just going to be a really pretty day for much of the day and a dry day. you see back to our west there's some showers in pennsylvania, there's a trailing front with this low. that low is the one that brought the tornadic activity to illinois. that's pushing northward into krean. the trailing front, as you see by afternoon today, could give us a couple of showers around 5:00, 6:00 when the temperature will be in the mid- to upper 50s to low 60s. then that passes by tonight, then tomorrow we start off with sunshine, and we got a nice start to the parade tomorrow for st. patrick's day. you see the temperature is late in the day starting around 3:00 a couple of sprinkles pop up here on our futurecast. and a couple of showers during the end of the parade and into tomorr

meg shaw is live in hudson. the community is doing everything they can for the boys. >> reporter: jackie, a go fund mia, count is up and running for the couple's three teenagers found in two days. more than $15,000 has been donated. i did talk to hudson police early this morning about the messages that jackie mentioned. a sergeant with the department confirmed to me that texts were sent before she was shot and killed by her strange husband and they tell me all cell phones of those involved in the incident have been taken into custody for the investigation. and according to cleveland.com, steven is responsible for sending the messages. texts to his sons a day before the shooting, inviting them to the park in macedonia on sunday to talk about, quote, family issues and the boys say their dad never showed up. instead, he ambushed their mother and shot at her five times hitting her four times. he then turned the gun on himself. and i checked court recording this morning and two months ago, steven was arrested for dom

crews are preparing to head back out on to the hudson near the tappan zee bring. tracie strahan is in tarrytown with more. tracie? >> darlene, lawmakers say this is gone from a rescue and recovery effort to a sal vaj effort. three men were sent into the water as a result of at that tugboat crash. one is still missing this morning. all of this happening this weekend here right near the construction site where the new tappan zee bridge is being built. three crew members were september into the water. so far, they've been able to locate the body of one man. timothy conklin of west bury. another man was plucked from the water. but he did not survive. governor cuomo gave a news conference giving an update on the situation speaking specifically about radio transmissions that appear to indicate that this was likely an accident. >> there are reports that there are radio transmissions from the tug on the right saying we are too close, we have to move left but they couldn't move in time. >> crews were near an area they believe the body of harry hernandez of staten island ma
